Workout Jam Time!

My day has just flown by! (which I guess is a good thing since its Monday!) I had a very relaxing weekend, we had some beautiful weather here in Boston!! Friday night I went out to dinner to Legal Seafood which is an excellent restaurant if you are in the mood for any sort of fish!
I started with a nice glass of Shiraz.
And a side salad. It was a typical side house salad with carrots, sunflower seeds and tomatoes. The dressing on the side is a low sodium/calorie tomato balsamic vinegrette which was acutally very tasty!
I opted for the grilled scallops for my main dish. They were coated in cajun seasonings which was delicous! Double steamed broccoli on the side!

Saturday morning was spent the BEST way. Woke up, made some breakfast, had some coffee and watched Bride Wars  the news. Seriously, I watched Bride Wars if you didn’t pick up on that and I really love that movie!! Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson make such a good duo!
My oatmeal was also fantastic! I got some apple pie spice at the store, which is very similar to pumpkin pie spice, but somewhat different. It was delicious! Did I mention Saturday was also my REST day? Got to love those days! I take my rest days very seriously and truly do. nothing. Saturday evening rolled around and we decided to go see the new movie “Due Date” with Zach Gilifianakis and Robert Downy Jr (who is smokin’ by the way)
SYNOPSIS
“Peter Highman is an expectant first-time father whose wife’s due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan–on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter’s last nerve”
We are both HUGE Zach fans after seeing the Hangover ( I want him to go on a comedy tour soon!!) and so without really knowing anything about the movie, we went. To be honest, J almost wanted to leave early. The movie was funny, don;t get me wrong, and Zach is still hilarious, BUT the movie lacked something The plot was a bit mindless and it felt like it really wasn’t going anywhere.  I would give this movie 5/10. It does not even compare to The Hangover. Funny, but not worth wasting your money to see it in theaters (my opinion!)

On Sunday, I went to the CSF studios for a morning workout and posing practice.
The class was great, and it was packed ful of girls ready to ROCK it in Vegas this weekend. I could not believe how amazing they looked. It was so great for me to see some of their fitness routines, posing etc because I truly feel like I am learning from some of the pro’s. Lots of these girls have been competing for years, and everyone is SO extremely supportive. I love the enviornment and always leave the studio in SUCH a good mood! I also met my coach finally, who said I looked great! She said that I have made tremendous progress since I have started and that I will be SO ready for next April. I was very happy to hear that since I really have been working my butt off! I just have this intense focus and cannot wait for show time! Everytime I get apprehensive or nervous, I just think about the HUGE family of Savage girls I have with me.

And now I am currently enjoying some lunch! Salad with green beans, cucumbers, red pepper, sweet potato, ground turkey breast, mushrooms and rice wine vinegar.
