Larabar Package and Packing Central!

What a day and what a great package I got in the mail! I will get to that in a bit!

For now, let me show you what my floor looks like pre-packing in my suitcase for my Costa Rican adventure which I leave for on Wednesday!!

Just lots of things…. everywhere…does (or do?) anyone else’s bedroom floor look like this before a vacation?

I am bringing this dress which I will wear probably to my AUnt and Uncle’s house on Friday night to the pre dinner. It is a denim Theory Dress I got this summer.

This dress to the wedding perhaps (it is a Costa Rican casual wedding) French Connection Black Satin Tube top dress. Still not sure about the dress though…

Question time: When you are going to the airport do you bring your meals or do you rely on airports to provide the food?

I ALWAYS bring food with me. We have a 7:30 am flight so I am brining breakfast. I will either make overnight oats the night before, OR bring some instant oats in a bag and when I get to the airport, add hot water…banana and some Justin’s PB  of course too 🙂

Ok Breakfast this morning, I didn’t snap a shot of but, no worries you are not missing out, it was a typical oats and berries breakkie with peanut butter

I started the day with a 4.2 mile run on the treadmill. I love how the sun is rising earlier! Although I hate how it was dark today at 4:30! still it was nice to run, while watching the sunrise through the large glass windows.

Snack

  • rear delt raise
  • lots of core work! (things i cannot even describe!)
  • Biceps curl standing on the bosu using the rope pulley
  • Jump Squats with a medicine ball toss
  • AND MORE!!
  • He’s crazy but I <3 him!
Came home and had this post workout snackie!

Close up

Abby From Abbys Vegan Eats presented me with this AWESOME award, thank you so much Ab’s you are such a sweetheart! o now, I have to share 7 things about myself…. please be patient as some of these might be repetitive!!!

  1. When I am up early I love watching the sunrise.
  2. When I was younger I wanted to be Mariah Carey. I do sing and have a pretty decent voice but when I was younger I was a bit beyond obsessed with her.
  3. I am such a homebody, at 23 years old, I would prefer to stay in and watch a movie, go to bed early then go to a bar and get drunk
  4. I wish I had the willpower to be a vegetarian but I don’t think I could do it!
  5. I was born a few hours before April fools day and quite Happy about it!
  6. When I tell an adolescent boy my Name, this their response “Haha, thats I-Moan backwards” I really wish my name spelled something else backward!
  7. I love bad 80’s music like REO speed wagon, The Fixx, The Outfield, Pat Benetar…
Now I must pass this onto 7 more bloggies!

I try to pack my own food because airports and airplanes can be so iffy. Once I was caught on the runway for 2 hours and all we got was water.
I’m still impressed that anyone can get up and work out at 4:30
And if you were born a few hours before April fools day, then your birthday is just 2 days after mine! Go March!

  2. april says:

I always bring my own food too! There’s always snacks in my purse too haha.

Foods Alive? Never heard of it. WANT IT. Nuff said. Do you like it? I love sweet-ish dressings, no garlic or onion tastes. That looks up my alley!

I got the same Lara pkg today. Ummmm it only took me like oh 7 emails and 3 mos of asking but I finally got my 4 bars LOL

Airports-High raw all vegan, gluten free, soy free? Hello girl, i bring my own food! Or I’d starve!

    kale chips, my fave 🙂

  8. Sophia says:

Love your dresses! I hope you take a pic of you in them…you’ll look gorgeous!
When it’s international flight and meals are included in the ticket, I will eat plane food, but also pack snacks along because frankly, airplane food is horrible. But for domestic flights, food is not included and I don’t buy it since it’s horribly overpriced.

  9. Erica says:

Good luck with the packing! Those dresses are totally cute. You are going to have SUCH a blast. I always bring food with me to the airport. Laras are actually my go tos! They’re the best. mmmm squash. Can’t get enough right now

    Cute dresses!
I brought oats in a jar on the plane the last time I went on vacation. It was all thick and gooey and kept me full from Massachusetts to Seattle. I couldn’t care less about the weird looks I got.

  16. Jil says:

Unfortunately, I never bring food with me to the airport; it’s usually the last thing on my list haha. I really should though cuz I always end up eating like crap. My floor definitely looks like that before traveling, too.

  17. lisaou11 says:

I’m a definite bring a food with me kind of gal! Always wanna be prepared. You can find healthy eats at the airport, but they are always so dang expensive!

Have you tried the PB & J flavor?

  18. Gina says:

LOVE the dress! And, I’m so jealous of your Larabar package in the mail! How fun.

I bring my own food to the airport, I rely on the airline to provide my diet Sprite in the tiny little plastic cup 🙂

For some reason your blog is not showing up on my blogroll, STILL! I did change it too, I just don’t get it!
