Stick to your ribs.

Hey guys. Its friday YES. I am so happy! This week flew by too! Must be all the anticipation for the wedding I have this weekend! Jason’s brother is getting married this weekend and festivities start tonight. Well, actually for me, it started the second I left work.
I had work at 5am, and for some reason it was extra hard to get out of bed this morning. Usually I get right up at 4:16 am when my alarm goes off, my body is very used to it, but this morning all I wanted to do was stay in bed! Oh well, such is life. I also had a rough time motivating myself to workout today, which is very unlike me, if you don’t know that by now. Anyways, I did manage to get in
20 minutes HIIT on the treadmill (In my exercise and workout page under HIIT)

  • 15 minutes on the spin bike
  • 2 sets of vertical rows Superset with Bicep curls
  • 2 sets Triceps Push down superset with Cable back rows
  • DONE
  • 1/3 C oatbran cooked in water
  • 1 TBSP flaxseed
  • Frozen Berries added in at the end
  • 1/4 C no sodium cottage cheese
  • Cinnamon
I did a little experiment today. I usually ALWAYS have some sort of nut butter mixed in my oats, as you know. This morning I decided to opt out of using it in my oats because I was going to use it in my mid morning snack instead. I found it incredible how much nut butter really is a ‘stick to your ribs’ (hence my title) kind of food. Well, all fats for that matter. I found myself unusually hungry just about 2 hours after as compared to when i usually have nut butter in my oats, it keeps me satisfied for at LEAST 2.5, if not 3 hours. ANyways, it was just a fun observation I made.
Caramel vanilla creme coffee with skim milk and 1 Truvia packet

Mid morning snack, I was ravishing. I think I am somewhat of a bottomless Pit today! 1 organic braeburn apple

1 Brown Cow yogurt with a crumbled apple cinnamon protein muffin and Naturally More Almond Butter

Yummay. Now This is a stick to your ribs kind of snack!!

Blah traffic on a rainy Friday night. Lunch was eaten in the car because I went straight from work to get airbrush tanned. It was my first time getting airbrushed one on one.

Some raw veggies: Carrot sticks, snap peas, yellow and orange pepper

Wrap with turkey breast, baby spinach, Laughing Cow wedge, sprouts, red onion
I have done the mystic tan booth before, but not the airbrush. When I think about mystic tan, I always think about THIS friends episode!!

HAHA
Anyways, it went well! I told her I didn’t want to be crazy dark and not too noticeably different, but just a nice bronzed glow.
The booth I stood in.
Meh, you can’t really tell a difference at all in this picture, but she did a great job!
Still hungry, so I snacked on a Luna Bar. (about 1/3)
Yum. One of my favorites.

Wedding friendly manicure! I got two light colors on top of one another. They were Essie “like linen” and Essie “Hi-Maintence” Loved it! Natural and shiny!
I came home and whipped up a mid afternoon snack of 1 3 oz can tuna with a dollop of cottage cheese and diced celery
With 2 corn thins
Perfect!

My mom is on her way over to help me get ready and then I’m on my way to the rehearsal dinner which is downtown Boston! Hopefully the skies will open and the sun will come out!
Peace and Kisses
