Semi-Wordless Wednesday

Happy Hump day, friends. This is going to be a super speedy post since I have some things to get done! Wordless Wendesday, perhaps?
Thats homemade PB, by the way (ground in the magic bullet-no salt peanuts)
great afternoon snack!
This morning:
1/4 C oats 1/4 C berries, 3 egg whites
Coffee with almond milk & stevia and mixed up eggs! ( I split up my oats portion, 1/4 cooked for breakfast and the other 1/4 C a couple hours later)
Meal 2. The other 1/4 C oats, greek yogurt 1/3 C diced watermelon and 14 grams of raw almonds (unpictured)
After my killer shoulder workout, it was post workout meal time. 1 scoop whey, 1/4 C oatmeal
Bullet’ed up!
Note: I am not, and did not post all of my meals for the day, so pleaseee no emails saying that I am not eating enough. Today has been very busy so I didn’t post everything I ate. This blog is about me, healthy living and healthy food! Not JUST food, so stayed tuned for lots more “not just food” stuff!

Food for thought: Try supersets next time you weight train. No resting between reps & sets is tough, but it will blast fat! You are maximizing your time in the gym, keeping your heart rate elevated and getting the most effective fat burning workout!

  • Superseting incorporates cardio because you are never sitting around

Try THIS workout
A1) Military Press (10-15)
A2) Squat Squat with pulse (12)
A3) Lateral raise with a 5 second hold (10-15)
**Perform 30 seconds sprinting in place
B1) Backwards lunges with front kick (12 each leg)
B2) Triceps DB kick back (10-15)
B3) Jump Squat (10)
**Perform 30 seconds mountain climbers
C1) Bicycle Crunches
C2) Push ups with feet on bench or stability ball (until failure)
C3) Glute Kick backs (15 each leg)
**Perform 30 seconds burpees
Repeat this whole sequence 3 times! Its a KILLER workout!!

  • if you were on a desert island list 5 things you would want? (not just food and no people or phone!) Ipod, peanut butter, water, matches, chapstick!
  • Do you prefer to cook or bake and is there anything you are ‘known for’? for me, I LOVe to cook way more than bake!! I would say I am known for bringing anything healthy to a party!
