I Dare You To…

  • Turn off the computer and go take a walk
  • Run SPRINTS instead of your easy peasy 2 mile jog. Sure its easy. That’s why you do it
  • Try a new dish this week
  • Add more healthy fats to your diet
  • Call someone. Seriously. CALL. Not text
  • Tell someone who hasn’t been the best at communicating how you really feel. Confrontation is hard but powerful
  • Pick up a book. Not on a kindle. A real book with pages and sit in the quiet-read.
  • Buy yourself a delicious smelling candle. Light it in your house/room/apt and relax with the smell
  • Cook a NEW recipe
  • Put down your phone for 2 solid hours.
  • Call your grandparents, just to say hi
  • Look in the mirror and admire something about your body
  • Put on your favorite song and DANCE it out
  • Give  $1 to a homeless person that you pass everyday on the way to or from work.
  • Make homemade fudgesicles with Greek yogurt, stevia and unsweetened cocoa powder in ice cube trays. Stick a toothpick in each one and enjoy!
  • Walk down the street without comparing yourself to one single person
  • Order something DIFFERENT off of a restaurant that you frequent
  • Eat an egg. With the Yolk. Yes the WHOLE THING
  • That person that makes you go “UGHHH” every time you hang or see them? get them out of your life. Only keep those that make you smile and want to your world a brighter place.
  • Stop looking at the scale. You are not defined by a number.
  • Top your salad with oil and vinegar and TOSS the low fat/fat free crap. It is loaded with chemicals. Many vegetables are fat-soluble, which means your body absorbs their nutrients better when you eat a little fat with them.
  • Reward yourself for reaching a goal with something that you have wanted for a long time. You deserve it
  • Try a new vegetable
  • Do an activity that you have NEVER done; whether that’s taking a dance class, rollerblading, indoor rock climb. The world has so much to offer!
  • Brew your own coffee. If you average buying one medium a day that’s about $16 a week. That’s an extra $832 a year!
  • Wash your vegetables right when you get them from the store so they are ready to go!
  • Know that you are awesome and know when to walk away from a toxic situation/person.
  • Stop thinking about a mistake from the past…focus on the future

What would you dare someone to do?
